Halff Earns Recognition for Excellence in Engineering, Community Impact and Workplace Culture

Recognition came from across the industry this month as several Halff projects, teams and offices earned national awards and honors. These achievements reflect the innovation, dedication and culture that continue to drive Halff forward.

At the national level, two Halff projects earned recognition through the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Engineering Excellence Awards program, adding to a growing list of national honors received by the firm in recent years. These achievements highlight Halff’s ability to deliver innovative solutions that address complex infrastructure challenges and improve the communities they serve.

Recognition also extended beyond project work. Halff was named Design Firm of the Year by the City of Bentonville, Arkansas, for the second consecutive year, while the firm earned its fifth consecutive Top Workplaces USA honor and a Five-Year Milestone Award recognizing its sustained commitment to workplace excellence. Together, these recognitions reflect the talent and culture that continue to sustain Halff’s success.

Graduate Engineer II: Land Development

Location: Dallas, TX

Contribute to the design and development of commercial, industrial and residential projects by supporting site civil design, drainage analysis, utility coordination and stormwater infrastructure planning. This role offers early-career engineers the opportunity to expand their technical expertise, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and gain hands-on experience delivering complex land development projects from planning through construction.

Landscape Designer II: Planning/Landscape Architecture

Location: Houston, TX

Support planning and landscape architecture projects by assisting with site analysis, conceptual design, construction documentation and graphic development for parks, trails, streetscapes and other public spaces. This role offers design professionals the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while helping create impactful, people-focused environments that enhance communities.

Halff Community Initiative (HCI)

Volunteers from the Fayetteville and Bentonville offices collected litter, helping maintain an adopted trail during a citywide cleanup effort.

Halff’s Atlanta office volunteered with Jambos Donates, helping fold and organize new pajamas for children and teens in the foster care system.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore received a helping hand from the Lubbock office, where volunteers updated office spaces with renovations like fresh paint and new flooring.

Halff’s Culture

The Fort Worth office gathered for a crawfish boil, enjoying great food and time together outside the office!

Blue took over Halff offices during TFMA’s Flood Awareness Week as team members participated in Wear Blue Wednesday. A favorite Halff tradition each year, it’s all in the name of helping raise awareness about flood risks and preparedness across Texas.

Halff Bag Travels

Rebecca Dell (left) and her Halff bag traveled to Alaska and Canada, stopping at the Yukon Suspension Bridge and Mendenhall Glacier during an Alaskan cruise.

Tiffany Lowe brought her Halff bag along on a road trip to Arizona, where she completed a nighttime desert hike and checked Saguaro National Park off her list.
